CBN not physically but mentally tortured. In September last year, the arrest of Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu by the AP CID in the Skill Scam case sent shockwaves through the political landscape. Naidu endured nearly two months of incarceration, during which he faced what actor Sivaji, well-versed in AP politics, describes as distressing circumstances.

In a recent public interaction, Sivaji shed light on the challenges Naidu encountered inside the confines of Rajahmundry Central Jail. According to Sivaji, Naidu, a 74-year-old man, confronted a series of hardships, exacerbated by the harsh realities of the peak winter season during his detainment.

Sivaji revealed, "Chandrababu garu was mentally abused during his time in custody. Despite his age and status, he was subjected to inconveniences deliberately orchestrated to inflict discomfort." One such instance highlighted by Sivaji was the provision of an Indian-style toilet in place of the western commode that Naidu was accustomed to—a shift deemed particularly arduous for a man of his age. Additionally, Naidu reportedly endured bathing with cold water, a practice deemed especially discomforting during the chilly winter months.

The revelation of Naidu's purported mistreatment within the confines of the jail, as shared by Sivaji, has captured public attention, particularly in light of the upcoming elections. As this narrative permeates broader segments of the populace, there is a potential for a groundswell of sympathy towards Naidu, as citizens become increasingly aware of the challenges he faced during his time in custody.
