Dhanraj: Comedian Turned Versatile Actor Turned Filmmaker

Dhanraj Koranani is very popular actor for his comedy roles. During his career spanned over 20 years, Dhanraj has played wide range of roles. While he was mostly seen in comedy roles he also played characters with negative shades. He started his career in films with Teja's film, Jai. He got popular with Sukumar Directorial 'Jagadam' as sidekick of Ram in the film.

He then became known comedian with Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu and Pilla Zamindar. Since then Dhanraj became a part of seasoned comedy actors in Telugu Cinema. He also did negative roles in films like 'Devi Sri Prasad'. Dhanraj not only confined himself to big screen, but also participated in TV Shows.

He was leading a team "Dhanadhan Dhanraj" in a popular TV comedy-show Jabardasth telecast on ETV. Dhanraj participated in Telugu reality series Bigg Boss 1. He got eliminated in the 6th week. He was team leader of "Dhanraj Blasters" in the comedy-show Adhirindhi on Zee Telugu.

Dhanraj turned into Director. He written and directed a heartwarming tale about Father and Son titled, 'Ramam Raghavam' featuring himself and Samuthirakani. This Telugu and Tamil bilingual has recently released its teaser and it surprises for its emotional content. Dhanraj seems to impress everyone with his storytelling talent.
