Following the release of a captivating poster, a teaser was unveiled on Sunday, leaving audiences mesmerized by Big B’s enigmatic performance.

With an astonishing budget of 600 crores, Kalki 2898 AD is the most expensive Indian films ever made, reports indicate a significant portion was allocated to the actors’ remuneration. It is reported that Amitabh Bachchan is receiving a staggering fee of 18 crores for his role in the film. 

Amitabh Bachchan took to Instagram to share his insights, expressing, “It’s been an unparalleled journey for me. The conceptualization of such a groundbreaking project, the meticulous execution, the immersion in modern technology, and, above all, the camaraderie among colleagues with stellar superstar presence.”

The teaser of Amitabh Bachchan’s character, Ashwatthama, offers intriguing clues about the film’s plot, particularly regarding the impending end of Kali Yuga. 'Kalki 2898 AD’ is helmed by director Nag Ashwin and features a star-studded ensemble cast. The film boasts the esteemed presence of industry stalwarts such as Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Reportedly the film will hit the theaters on June 20, 2024.
